Alhamdulillah, I have finally have the belief to get this up and running. My inspiration came after meetng the amazing team behind havehalalwilltravel.com last Ramadan in Singapore while on a work trip. We broke fast together and right from the get go I felt the passion that drives them to help fellow muslim brothers and sisters embrace the notion of traveling the world. The halal industry as a whole is simply booming and many countries have jumped on the bandwagon of this multi-billion industry. As much as I have been bitten by the travel bug this year, I would, first and foremost, be promoting my country , Brunei Darussalam and along the way, post halal eateries I have come across during my travels. I hope to do justice to my country as it is one of the most peaceful and friendliest in the world. I also chose today to go live because it happens to be my birthday as well. Turning 37 today, Alhamdulillah. Also Happy 42nd anniversary to Brunei's national carrier, Royal Brunei. Also happy birthday to Peter Schmeichel! Thank you so much to my wife, Zara and my boys, Hameez, Izzat & Maleek, my mom, my family and friends, where ever you may be, for the warm wishes. May Allah bless you too. Ameen Ya Rabb. I was actively blogging some years ago but simply lost the drive, once more resposibilities kicked in. I hope sharing my love of eating will keep me motivated. I have no idea how often I should update and I do not wish to make any promises. So let's just go with the flow.
